D’Vine Designs was officially established as a full-time, full-service design company in May 2009, with a passion to aid individuals and small to medium-sized businesses to effectively bring publicity to their organization and events. D’Vine Designs is a small creative company based out of Metro Atlanta, specializing in graphic design, corporate/individual branding and marketing. We understand the need for outstanding designs on tight budgets and our mission is to take a personalized approach to all design projects, transforming our clients’ ideas into high-quality, innovative solutions for print and web. We pride ourselves with providing excellent customer service and strive to make every client feel like they are our only client.

ABOUT OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR

LaShawn Chandler has always had a knack for art and design, loving to create things, especially digitally. Since her teenage years, whenever she got her hands on computer graphics software, she delved into it and learned as much as she could on her own. Without any formal training, because of her design work, she was favored to land her first corporate design job in 1996 for a local specialty hospital’s Marketing/Public Relations department and went on to fill other design positions at other corporations. She conquered a personal goal of going back to school to obtain an Associates degree in Graphic Design and Multi-Media Development in May 2009 . After working in corporate America for 15 years, she took a leap of faith in April 2009 and started D'Vine Designs and has been at the helm ever since as a full-time business owner. She then decided to re-enrolled in school to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications (Magna Cum Laude) in November 2016.

 

She currently resides in metro Atlanta, while born and raised in Gary, Indiana. She has been heavily involved in the Christian church since a child, with an inherent love for God and gospel music. Although she loves to sing, teaching and directing choirs became her passion!  She first started directing while a freshman at Emory University in 1991 and later went on to directing choirs of over 500 members at national church conventions. Her love for music has afforded her the blessed pleasure of sharing the stage with many world-renowned gospel artists, singing and recording as a background vocalist, as well as touring abroad with various gospel artists.  She is an ordained Elder and presently serves faithfully in her local church, Zion Hill Baptist Church (Dr. Aaron L. Parker – pastor) as a worship leader, choir director and member of the Ministerial Alliance. Her goal is to honor God in every area of her life, serving others with a spirit of excellence!
